JIREH has scanners capable of performing automated two-axis inspections to assist with corrosion mapping (C-scans).

The use of automated scanners significantly reduces scan time and operator error. Get repeatable results every time. Fully automated, motorized X-Y scanners from JIREH help carry out advanced ultrasonic inspections. The portable nature of JIREH’s motorized scanners provide a great alternative to the heavy and cumbersome units traditionally used for Automated Ultrasonic Examinations (AUT). Multiple probes and inspections tools, such as HydroFORM can be mounted to JIREH’s scanners.

  • Featuring Raster Arms up to 46” long.
  • Scan speeds up to 30” / second.
  • Crawler Removal System for fast and easy repositioning (coming Spring 2017)

Navic Crawler

The Navic is a modular, motorized, steerable scanner designed to carry multiple attachments used in various scanning and inspection applications. The remote operated scanning platform is capable of circumferential scans from 70 mm (2.75 in) minimum OD to flat surfaces and longitudinal scans from 305 mm (12 in) minimum OD to flat. Its joystick-controlled steering allows for smooth and accurate weld tracking.

The modular design of the Navic allows it to carry multiple attachments used for various scanning and inspection applications.

Skoot Crawler

The Skoot is designed to carry multiple attachments. The Skoot can be used for many scanning and inspection applications.

This remote operated scanning platform can be outfitted with a probe holder weld frame for weld inspection, or motorized arm for automated two-axis scans. It is capable of circumferential scans from 63.5 mm (2.50”) to flat surfaces and longitudinal scans from 762 mm (30′′) minimum OD to flat. The Skoot uses rare-earth magnetic wheels allowing vertical payloads up to 18.60 kg (41 lbs) and can be configured for connection to most brands and types of instruments. The raster arm is available in 300 mm (12”) and 600 mm (30”) lengths.
